Cornelius: For years, Cornelius worked as a hedge fund manager. While lucrative, he found the work to be stressful and unfulfilling. So last year, he quit that job and bought a food cart. He now sells his secret recipe gourmet hotdogs, homemade caramel corn, and snickerdoodle cookies. (No money? No problem! He'll trade you a hot dog and cookie for your best dad joke.) The change means that he’s had to downsize his life a bit, but he’s so much happier. Feeding people delicious food gives him joy.
Materials: Recycled sweater, hardware, scrappy recycled buttons, glass eyes, beads, metal bells, and polyfil.
Size: Cornelius is about 9 inches tall. His arm span is about 7 inches.
Shipping: $12 (Note: If you're outside the US, please contact me prior to purchasing so I can adjust for international rates. If you purchase it at this price and you're outside of the US, I'll need to cancel the order as international shipping starts at $34 and usually is closer to $64. Thanks for understanding.)
Shipping Info: I take creatures to the post office on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Once there, your creature will ship USPS Priority Mail, which generally takes 1-3 days. A tracking number will be provided once it's at the post office. (If you order on a Tuesday or Thursday, it might go out the following ship day.)
Please note: Creatures have small parts and should be kept away from small children and pets as they could present a choking hazard. And, while reasonably durable, they are handmade and designed to sit next to your computer or on your nightstand. They’re not for rough-and-tumble play. Please look at the size dimensions of a creature before you order as the photos may make them seem larger or smaller than they actually are. Each creature comes with a printed copy of their story. Thanks for looking!
Anne's creatures are silly, weird, and awesome. Each one has a unique personality and just wants to love and be loved.
The superfluous is the most necessary.

I've been creating creatures for 20+ years. Doing so is my joyful meditative practice. And I don't 'make' creatures so much as I help their existing spirits come into being. For that reason, each creature is totally unique. My creatures are like people: sometimes anxious, sometimes confused, and full of quirky imperfections that make them completely loveable.
