Goffman: Goffman is a self-taught scientist. His most recent theory is that 96% of what you find on the floor or sidewalk does not taste good. He tests his theory by eating what he comes across and making detailed notes about his taste-experience in his scientific pocket journal. So far, his theory is fairly accurate, although it's closer to 98% of things on the ground taste bad. He's working on a journal article about this.

Anne's creatures are silly, weird, and awesome. Each one has a unique personality and just wants to love and be loved.
The superfluous is the most necessary.

I've been creating creatures for 20+ years. Doing so is my joyful meditative practice. And I don't 'make' creatures so much as I help their existing spirits come into being. For that reason, each creature is totally unique. My creatures are like people: sometimes anxious, sometimes confused, and full of quirky imperfections that make them completely loveable.
