Olive: As an avid reader, Olive was thrilled to learn of a non-profit called LibriVox. LibriVox strives to make books in the public domain available (free of charge) in audio format on the internet. The books are narrated by real people (not AI) who volunteer their time to record them. Olive believes in the power of books, the power of stories, and the power of one person to make a difference when working within such an organization and so she is now a volunteer reader/narrator for them.
Materials: She is made from a glove, and is filled with dreid beans (to give her some weight) and polyfil. Her eyes are recycled buttons and hardware. She has an iridescent flower nose and shiny blue belly button. Her butt is a vintage button, and she has metal bells on her ear tips. Orange embroidery thread accents her neck.
Size: In sitting position (butt to ear tips), she is 9 inches tall. Arm span of 5 inches. (She does best when propped against something.)
Shipping (US only): $8 for USPS Ground or $13 for USPS Priority. Priority shipping is the default. If you prefer Ground, make a note in the provided box when you order and I'll refund the shipping difference within 24 hours. Both Ground and Priority include a tracking number.
Additional Shipping Info: I take creatures to the post office on Tuesdays and Thursdays. (If you order on a Tuesday or Thursday, it's possible your order will go out the following Tuesday or Thursday.) I currently do not offer international shipping; above prices are for shipping within the US.
Please note: Because creatures have small parts that could pose a choking hazard, they should be kept away from small children and pets. And, while I pride myself on their quality, they are handmade and designed to sit next to your computer or on your nightstand. They’re not for young kids or rough-and-tumble play. Please look at the size dimensions of a creature before you order as photos may make them seem smaller or larger than they actually are. Each creature comes with a printed copy of their story. Thanks for looking!
Anne's creatures are silly, weird, and awesome. Each one has a unique personality and just wants to love and be loved.
The superfluous is the most necessary.
