Pop-Tart: Pop-Tart is a shy creature who lives in a cozy nest in a hollow tree. She spends her time taking walks by the river and tending the sick plants in the forest. Every autumn, when the leaves become golden and when the lighting starts to glow, she begins knitting scarves and little hats for her squirrel and bird friends. Her snake friend, who is easily chilled, gets a knitted sleeve he can slip into. It's a good life.
Materials: Sock, glass eyes, hardware, recycled buttons, wool roving, beads, recycled costume jewelry, dried beans (to give legs and butt a little weight), and polyfil.
Size: Pop-Tart is very small! She's the size of a large potato. About 6 inches tall in sitting position. Arm span of about 5 inches.
Color: Color is best represented in the photo where she is slitting in my hand.
Shipping: $10 (If you're outside the US, please contact me prior to purchasing so I can adjust for international rates. If you purchase it at this price and you're outside of the US, I'll need to cancel the order as international shipping starts at $34 and is usually closer to $64. Thanks for understanding.)
Shipping Info: I take creatures to the post office on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Once there, your creature will ship USPS Priority Mail, which generally takes 1-3 days. A tracking number will be provided once it's at the post office. (If you order on a Tuesday or Thursday, it might go out the following ship day.)
Please note: Creatures have small parts and should be kept away from small children and pets as they could present a choking hazard. And, while reasonably durable, they are handmade and designed to sit next to your computer or on your nightstand. They’re not for rough-and-tumble play. Please look at the size dimensions of a creature before you order as the photos may make them seem smaller or larger than they actually are. Each creature comes with a printed copy of their story. Thanks for looking!
Anne's creatures are silly, weird, and awesome. Each one has a unique personality and just wants to love and be loved.
The superfluous is the most necessary.

I've been creating creatures for 20+ years. Doing so is my joyful meditative practice. And I don't 'make' creatures so much as I help their existing spirits come into being. For that reason, each creature is totally unique. My creatures are like people: sometimes anxious, sometimes confused, and full of quirky imperfections that make them completely loveable.
