RK311: RK311 is an anthropolgist from the 87th dimension. She's currently working on a book that is a comparative study of peopled-planets (although what constitutes a "people" varies significant planet to planet). Her study focuses on the degree to which the people of a planet understand that everything (everything!) is inter-connected and how that understanding impacts collectively designed systems (governments, education, medical, and so forth). She's been to planets where a deep collective understanding of interconnectedness has led to egalitarian peaceful planets and she's been to planets where an utter lack of understanding of interconnectedness has led to nasty brutish planets. She finds BLU-888 (that is, what her people call Earth) to be a baffling planet. Never has she visited a planet where the degree to which some people deeply understand interconnectedness and integrate this understanding into their lives while others are completely oblivious and even contemptuous of the idea has been so profound. It's created, she write in her notes, a planet full of tensions. Pockets of joy and kindness and yet great wars and hatreds, too. She's wondering if an intervention in this planet--while rarely done--might be appropriate. She will talk to the Council of Wise & Supreme Ladies about this possibility.

Materials: She is made from a sock and is filled with polyfil and some dried beans to give her some weight. Eyes are recycled hardware. Butt is recycled costume jewelry. A small recycled button for her belly, and a metal flower bead for her nose. She has small red metal bells as ear tips. (The linty look is the polyfil poking through the sock and is less noticeable in person than close-up photos.)

Note: She does best when propped up against something.

Size: She is small--the size of a potato! In sitting position (butt to top of ear bend) she is about 4.5 inches. With legs extended, she's about 7 inches. Arm span of 5 inches.
