Bertram & Javi: Bertram and his emotional support bat Javi (short for Javier) enjoy going on evening walks. (Or as Javi calls them, "evening flies.") Javi, being a Mexican free-tailed bat, has many friends living under the Congress Street Bridge in Austin, Texas. (One of the reasons Betram moved to Austin after adopting Javi was to ensure Javi could be near his friends for Jav's own emotional well-being.) Some nights, there are thousands of bats in the air and Bertram and Javi enjoy watching the humans who are, in turn, watching the bats.
Materials: Completely made from scrappy recycled materials, including metal/hardware, buttons, marbles, beads, wire, plastic orb, wood platform. Plastic bat is from a deconstructed halloween necklace.
Size: About 10 inches tall (bottom of platform to top of crown).
