Gracie Louise Junebug: Gracie Louise Junebug spent most of her life being a people-pleaser who had trouble saying no. Well, a few months ago, her friend Gladys invited her to go to a weekend Women's Retreat. Being an introvert, the last thing Gracie-Lou wanted to do was spend a weekend with a bunch of women doing 'fun activities' and going to seminars. But, because she was bad at saying no and because Gladys can be pushy, Gracie-Lou ended up going. While there, she learned about setting boundaries and saying no to requests when she didn't feel an authentic 'yes.' It was the best thing ever. When she got home, she made herself a little brooch as a reminder of this new knowledge. On one side of the brooch, she put a heart to remind herself that she's a good person even if there's conflict. More importantly, if someone asks her to do something that she doesn't want to do, she remembers that the flip side of the brooch says, "NO." This helps her stay grounded and gives her courage. And a few times when she said No, and the other person continued to push her to say Yes, she flipped the brooch up, pointed at it, and repeated NO. Even Gladys backs off when she does this. Gracie-Lou is very pleased with her progress.

Materials: Her body is made from fuzzy recycled sweaters. She is filled with polyfill and has dried beans in her but and legs to give her some weight. Her eyes are recycled buttons with hardware. She has a small metal nose and a metal belly button. Her butt is made from two buttons. She has metal bells on her ear tips.

Size: 8.5 inches tall (butt to ear bend). About 12 inches with legs extended. Arm span of 6 inches.
