Handsome Eddie: Handsome Eddie is an artist who is renowned for his hyper-realistic figurines that he carves out of potatos and then seals in resin. His figurines mostly feature creatures of the Pacific Northwest but occassionally he does humans, too. In fact, his Billy Crystal resin-potato-figurine just sold at auction for six figures and, to celebrate, he bought himself an Austin Healey Sprite. He's rumored to be dating Jennifer Lawrence, but he denies it.
Materials: Made from a fuzzy recycled sweater. Filled with polyfil and has dried beans in his legs and butt to give him some weight. Eyes are plastic with recycled buttons and hardware. He has a small metal nose, and metal bells on his ear tips. His butt is a vintage button and hardware.
Size: About 6 inches tall in sitting position (butt to ear tip). With legs extended 9.5 inches. Arm span of around 8 inches.
Shipping (US only): $8 for USPS Ground or $14 for USPS Priority. Priority shipping is the default. If you prefer Ground, make a note in the provided box when you order and I'll refund the shipping difference within 24 hours. Both Ground and Priority include a tracking number. (Ships from Portland, Oregon.)
Additional Shipping Info: I take creatures to the post office on Tuesdays and Thursdays. (If you order on a Tuesday or Thursday, it's possible your order will go out the following Tuesday or Thursday.) I currently do not offer international shipping; above prices are for shipping within the US. f you order more than one creature and they're all going to the same address, I will refund over payment of shipping once I've packaged and weighed the final box.
Please note: Because creatures have small parts that could pose a choking hazard, they should be kept away from small children and pets. And, while I pride myself on their quality, they are handmade and designed to sit next to your computer or on your nightstand. They’re not for young kids or rough-and-tumble play. Please look at the size dimensions of a creature before you order as photos may make them seem smaller or larger than they actually are. Each creature comes with a printed copy of their story.
